Accompanied by LaLiga, the project draws its maximum inspiration from Leo Messi.

The experience will only be available only for a limited number of attendees for each function of the new Messi10 by Cirque du Soleil show, which involves several interactive and physical challenges generated using cutting-edge technology. Thanks to a scoring system, the “Messi of the Day”, the one who scores most points overall, will be given the opportunity to become an active part of the Messi10 Cirque du Soleil show.

Both the show and the interactive experience will make their world debut on October 10th in Parc del Forum. In addition, “Messi10 Challenge LaLiga” will open with an advance preview with the Summer Edition at the F.C. Barcelona Miniestadi from July onwards.

Mediapro Exhibitions is currently working on the audiovisual, technological and interior design productions of this unprecedented interactive experience.

LynTec Expands Award-Winning RPC Series Controllable Circuit Breaker Panel With New Capacity Model

LynTec has introduced the new RPC 348 motorized circuit breaker panel with capacity for up to 48 motorized circuit breakers and six non-motorized standard circuit breakers. The new panel is part of LynTec’s patented, industry-recommended RPC series, which offers a range of models that can control 30, 42, 48, 66, or 84 breakers in a single panel.

While electrical standards call out 30-, 42-, 66- or 84-slot panels, the lighting industry lists 48-position panels as the standard for lighting control panels. The new 48-position RPC 348 panel allows for an easy conversion of older relay panels into a more space-efficient, controllable circuit breaker panel. Based on the Square D PowerLink hardware platform, it delivers the same innovations as the rest of the RPC family, including a web-enabled interface for quick setup and intuitive control and monitoring from any smartphone, tablet, or computer.

It also features a scheduling program with an astronomical clock and up to 84 available scheduled events to automate AVL power and reduce operational costs; contact closure inputs for wall switch or sensor operation (up to 38 inputs); circuit-selectable load-shedding; circuit-level sequencing with selectable step-rates to prevent inrush; circuit-selectable auto-on for egress lighting; over- and under-voltage protection with automatic shutdown and controlled restart; single DMX address zone control, and more. All of the RPC series panels can be networked together via their on-board web servers to form large venue power control platforms. In addition, it can interface with any control system that communicates individual circuit addresses in DMX, sACN, HTTP, Telnet, BACnet, or RS-232.

MEDIAPRO, selected by CAF to provide VAR for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations

The African Football Confederation (CAF) has chosen MEDIAPRO as the provider responsible for the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) service for the African Cup of Nations, the largest international tournament of African nations, to be held in Egypt between 21st June and 19th July.

The 2019 edition will be the first African Cup of Nations with 24 teams and with video arbitration technology (VAR) from the quarterfinals stage. The service also includes a comprehensive training program delivered by the MEDIAPRO crews with simulator and Offline VOR prior to the official VAR application.

Most recently Jones spent two years working independently scaling early-stage tech start ups, whilst leading the restructure and digitisation of a household name B2B services business.

Sky Deutschland and MX1 Expand Collaboration

In particular, the scope of MX1’s contingency service will be expanded to include Sky Deutschland’s over-the-top (OTT) signals as well as its main broadcasts.

The MX1 Broadcast Centre will simultaneously receive all essential data and video transmission material from Sky Deutschland’s main channels. In the unlikely event that a natural or other catastrophe impacts Sky Deutschland’s media centre, its broadcast or OTT signal will be rapidly restored via MX1’s Broadcasting Centre in Unterföhring, Germany. The agreement includes content management, playout, and uplink services for the main signal, as well as encoding and distribution for OTT delivery.
