To ensure a seamless experience for the agency’s viewers Broadcasting Center Europe (BCE), a European leader in media services, system integration and software development, has installed an ephemeral studio at Luxembourg’s Chamber of Commerce.
The studio is full equipped with lights and audio systems as well as three 4K automated cameras (Panasonic PTZ) to ensure the best recording quality as well as a video conference system to ensure the perfect interactivity between the speakers and the Luxembourg for Finance team.
Freecaster, a subsidiary of BCE specializing in online video services for both live and on-demand high-quality content, will ensure the live streaming of the event. The player will feature adaptative bitrate to ensure the best experience on any platform. Thanks to an extended CDN (Content Delivery Network) with key partners, the live stream will always be available, even in case of massive audience peaks. With the live to VoD (Video on Demand), the digital event will be immediately available for replay at the end of the live streaming.
BCE developed a dedicated webpage for the customer digital event. Thanks to an online form, viewers will be able to ask their question directly to the financial experts of the panel discussion. Mobile friendly, the page will also feature a live polling system to allow real-time interaction with the viewers. “Focus on” topics are targeted to the right audience in finance and range from geographical to thematical.
“Our media expertise gives us the ability to install and operate a studio within a very short time frame,” underlines Xavier Thillen, Head of Production & Digital Media Operations at BCE. “During the last 6 months we have developed and provided, together with Freecaster, high quality live streaming services, which answer perfectly the digital event needs of Luxembourg for Finance during Covid times.”
